About the Crimson Carbon MMA Sparring Gloves

This sparring glove uses bold black carbon-texture slashes that cut across a red shell, a more aggressive layout than the Crimson Carbon boxing glove. The black carbon pattern also fills the palm, and the wide strap is solid black. Fighters can spot their sparring pair instantly, and coaches can enforce a separate glove for hard rounds.

MMA academies spar boxing and kickboxing rounds before fighters move to MMA gloves for mixed work. Those striking rounds call for more padding. The glove uses thicker multi-density foam, comes in 14, 16 and 18 oz, and closes with a wide hook-and-loop strap for firm wrist support. The attached thumb stays out of the way in close exchanges.
