Who is Blackthorn World?
Blackthorn World (PVT) Ltd is a custom apparel and glove manufacturer established in 1995 and part of a family textile business dating to 1965. It makes teamwear, outerwear, streetwear, workwear, fightwear, gloves, bags, schoolwear, equestrian and motorcycle wear to order for brands, clubs and distributors.
What is Blackthorn World's official website?

Can EU and UK buyers import with reduced duty?
Blackthorn World is a registered exporter under the EU REX system (REX number PKREXPK71593468). Garments of Pakistani origin can qualify for reduced or zero import duty under the EU GSP+ scheme and the UK Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS) when the origin rules are met. Confirm the duty rate for your product code with your customs broker before ordering.
Is Blackthorn World a manufacturer or a trading company?
A manufacturer. Pattern making, cutting, stitching, dye sublimation, embroidery, printing and quality control run in its own factory at 12 KM Daska Road, Sialkot.
Where are Blackthorn World's offices?
The head office and factory are on one site, where all production happens. There is also a US office in Ellicott City, Maryland.
Is the Blackthorn World name a registered trademark?
Yes. Blackthorn World® is a registered trademark in the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Pakistan.
Ordering and samples
How do I place an order with Blackthorn World?
Send a design brief (tech pack, sketch or photo), quantities per size and delivery country. We reply with fabric options and a costing, make a sample for approval, then run bulk production against the approved sample. See the step-by-step guide at blackthorn-textile.com/how-to-order.
Do you sell stock or blank garments?
No. Everything is made to order — your fabric, colours, logo, labels and size run. The styles on the website are starting points.
Can I get a sample before a bulk order?
Yes. Every order is sampled first, and bulk production starts only after you approve fit, colour and branding.
What is your minimum order quantity?
Minimum orders: sublimated teamwear 10 pieces per design, varsity jackets 10 pieces, bags 10 pieces, motorcycle garments 50 pieces and motorcycle gloves 50 pairs per style. Other products are quoted per style. Send the style and quantity you have in mind and we will confirm what is possible.
How long does production take?
Samples take about 2 weeks, and bulk production takes 3–4 weeks after you approve the sample, plus shipping time. Exact dates are confirmed with your quote.
What files should I send for my logo or design?
Vector artwork (AI, EPS, PDF or CDR) is best for sublimation, embroidery and printing. A high-resolution image or sketch is fine to start — our team can redraw it.
Customisation and decoration
Do you do private label?
Yes. We make everything as OEM or private label: your woven or printed neck labels, care labels, hang tags and packaging.
Which decoration methods do you offer?
Dye sublimation, embroidery, screen printing, heat transfer, appliqué, chenille patches and silicone or rubberised logos. Sublimation, embroidery and printing are done in-house.
Can you match my brand colours?
Yes. Send Pantone references or a physical swatch; colour is checked on the sample and again during bulk inspection.
Can you make women's and youth sizes?
Yes. Patterns are graded digitally across adult, women's and youth size runs, and stored so repeat orders use the same pattern.
Quality and compliance
Which certificates does Blackthorn World hold?
ISO 9001:2015 quality management (QRO Certification, no. 3050260704154Q), an SGS-verified Gold Plus supplier assessment on Alibaba.com, and Punjab factory registration (2025013400119). Copies are at blackthorn-textile.com/certifications.
How do you check quality?
Inline and final inspection against the approved sample: measurements, colour, print position and finishing. The approved sample, pattern file, fabric spec and colour reference are kept on record for repeat orders.
Can hi-vis workwear meet EN ISO 20471 or ANSI/ISEA 107?
Yes, on request. Garments are built with compliant fluorescent fabrics and retro-reflective tape to the class you need, with testing arranged for your market.
Do your protective gloves have EN test reports?
Some current protective articles already hold EN test reports that can be shared. For a new glove, testing to the standard you need can be arranged at an accredited lab.
Shipping and payment
Which countries do you ship to?
Mainly the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
How are orders shipped?
Samples and urgent top-ups go by air courier (DHL, UPS, FedEx); bulk goes by sea or air freight. Door-to-door on our account, or FOB to your nominated forwarder.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer, Alibaba Trade Assurance, Western Union, MoneyGram and Zelle.
