This double-breasted design keeps the tradition, with ten fabric-covered buttons, a mandarin collar and fine black piping on the collar, front edge and turn-back cuffs. The body is a 65/35 polyester-cotton twill at around 200 gsm, chosen because it resists creasing and survives hot commercial washes. Breathable mesh panels run down each side to release heat during long service. Buyers who prefer natural fibre can specify 100% cotton or an organic cotton twill.
