Where the waterfowl jackets stop at the hip, this parka continues to mid-thigh, covering the seat for long sits on cold stands, in high seats and in shooting huts. It is deep forest green throughout, with a fixed hood, a high collar and a storm-flapped front zip.
Storage is generous: two large bellows cargo pockets with flaps on the lower front, two vertical chest zip pockets, and further zipped pockets at the hip. Cuffs adjust with tabs, the waist has an internal drawcord, and the hood and hem cords are finished with orange toggles.
Blaze orange appears on the zip pulls, hood drawcord ends and toggles. These are small safety accents that help with visibility and with finding pulls in gloves. They do not meet hunter-orange laws, so customers in regulated areas should wear a compliant vest or cap over the parka.
The shell is 300D polyester of approximately 220 GSM with a waterproof breathable TPU membrane of approximately 15,000 mm (indicative) and fully taped seams, lined with brushed tricot over approximately 120–150 GSM synthetic insulation. For static hunting, yes. The longer cut covers the hips and seat, which lose heat quickly on a cold seat or stand. With approximately 120–150 GSM insulation and a taped waterproof shell, the parka suits long waits in winter conditions.
No. The blaze-orange zip pulls, drawcord ends and toggles are small safety accents only. Hunters in areas with blaze-orange requirements should wear a compliant orange vest or cap over the parka. We can produce a matching orange vest.
