What separates a good MX glove from a cheap one, what to put in your brief, and how pricing and lead times work when you order motocross gloves under your own brand.

In short
Custom motocross gloves are lightweight off-road gloves with a thin single-layer palm for bar feel, silicone grip on the fingers, a stretch back sublimated to match your MX kit and optional TPR knuckle protection. Blackthorn World makes them private label for motocross, enduro and MTB brands, dealers and race teams from 100 pairs per style, at an indicative $8–$25 per pair FOB.

What makes a good motocross glove?
Riders judge an MX glove in the first lap. It has to feel thin on the bar, keep its grip when it gets wet with sweat or mud, and stay in place without bunching in the palm. That is why most race gloves use a single-layer synthetic-leather palm rather than a padded one. Padding feels comfortable in the shop but numbs feel and causes arm pump on the track.
What to specify in your brief
- Palm. Single-layer synthetic leather for bar feel, with a reinforced thumb area.
- Grip. Silicone print on the fingers and palm for clutch and brake lever control.
- Back. Stretch fabric sublimated in your colours, so gloves match your jersey and pant sets.
- Protection. Optional TPR knuckle and finger guards for enduro and armoured styles.
- Cuff. Slip-on for a clean race feel, or hook-and-loop for a firmer fit.
- Sizes. Adult and youth runs, mixed within the minimum.

| Cuff | Slip-on | Hook-and-loop |
| Typical buyer | MX race teams, kit brands | Enduro, trail and MTB brands |
| Price position | Lower end of the range | Higher end of the range |
Indicative price
Our custom motocross gloves are indicatively $8–$25 per pair FOB. The price depends on materials, protection, print and quantity. Brands that also sell kit can order gloves together with motocross jerseys and pants, so the colours are matched in one production run.
