In short
Custom ski gloves are insulated gloves with a waterproof breathable construction, a water-repellent shell, a reinforced grip palm, a wrist strap and a gauntlet cuff that seals over the jacket sleeve. Blackthorn World makes ski gloves and three-finger lobster mitts private label for ski and snowboard brands, resorts, ski schools, rental shops and retailers from 100 pairs per style, at an indicative $8–$18 per pair FOB.

Glove, mitt or lobster?
| Five-finger glove | Lobster mitt | Mitten | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warmth | Good | Warmer | Warmest |
| Grip on poles, buckles and zips | Best | Good | Limited |
| Typical buyer | Ski brands, schools, rental | Outerwear brands, resorts | Kids' ranges, cold markets |
Many brands carry a glove and a lobster mitt in the same colours as their ski jackets and pants.
What to specify
- Waterproofing. A waterproof breathable construction under a water-repellent shell keeps hands dry in wet snow.
- Insulation. Weight set to your market and season, confirmed at sample stage.
- Palm. Reinforced synthetic leather that resists pole wear.
- Cuff. Long gauntlet with drawcord over the sleeve, plus an adjustable wrist strap.
- Details. Wrist leashes, a thumb nose wipe and touchscreen fingertips.
- Branding. Logo printed, heat transferred, embroidered or as a rubber patch on the back of the hand, repeated on the cuff if you like.
Indicative price and season timing
Our waterproof ski gloves and lobster ski mitts are indicatively $8–$18 per pair FOB, depending on shell, insulation, palm material, branding and quantity. Ski gloves sell in a short window, so plan samples early enough that bulk lands before your retail season starts.
How a private-label glove order works

The minimum is 100 pairs per style, with sizes mixed. FOB prices exclude freight, import duty and VAT or sales tax.
