About the Burgundy Brushstroke Academy Duffel Bag
Deep burgundy covers the body, and cream brushstrokes sweep across it with the broken texture of a dry brush dragged over canvas. Small flecks and uneven edges keep it looking hand-made. Against the many sharp geometric patterns in sportswear, this one feels warm and artistic. The mesh shoe end-pocket and padded strap give it the same everyday function as any of our duffels.
The design began with a simple question: what would a traditional dojo banner look like on a modern gym bag? Burgundy echoes lacquered wood and old club colours, while cream recalls rice paper and calligraphy ink.
The strokes carry natural grain and broken edges, and sublimation reproduces that texture in full, which flat screen printing struggles to match. The result suits traditional karate and judo clubs, heritage rugby or cricket clubs in maroon, and lifestyle brands that want something gallery-like. The same strokes run across the matching gi, rash guard and shorts, so a club can build a full set around one look.

How ordering works
Approve the artwork, pay a 50% deposit and review the PPS photos or video. Bulk production then takes about 2–3 weeks. Pay the balance when the order is packed and ship by courier or freight.
