About the Orange Hi-Vis Security Storm Parka

Orange is the colour rail, port and airside teams are told to wear, and this parka is built around that brief. The whole body is fluorescent orange, so there is the maximum background area for a hi-vis classification, and silver retro-reflective tape runs over both shoulders, around the body twice and around both sleeves for 360° visibility at night and in spray.

The shell is 300D polyester Oxford with a PU coating and fully taped seams, lined with polyester mesh so it does not cling when guards walk long perimeters. A tall stand collar lined with black polar fleece closes over a stud-and-zip storm placket, the cuffs have hook-and-loop adjusters, and the parka length covers the hips when officers are standing at a gate or a ramp in driving rain.

A flap chest pocket carries a hook-and-loop badge that reads SECURITY, RAIL SECURITY, PORT SECURITY or AVSEC; two large lower flap pockets take gloves, notebooks and a torch. Back printing, an ID-card holder and a radio loop can be added to your spec.
