160 GSM means the fabric weighs 160 grams per square meter. That is a mid-weight mesh: light enough to vent heat over shoulder pads and arm guards, and strong enough to take stick checks, glove contact and a season of washing. The open mesh structure lets air through on hot spring and summer game days, and polyester dries quickly between halves and tournament games.

Sublimation turns ink into a gas that bonds with the polyester fibers, so the design becomes part of the fabric. Numbers, stripes, gradients and sponsor logos can't crack, peel or wash out, and the jersey stays as light and breathable as the bare mesh. Adding colors doesn't add cost, so a five-color crest costs the same to print as a one-color number.
