Dawn in a duck blind is cold, damp and windy, which is exactly where this jacket is meant to work. The marsh-grass print covers the whole jacket, including the hood and sleeves, and the hood's inside is lined with a tan fleece that frames the face. The hood adjusts with drawcords at the sides and back so it turns with the head when tracking birds.
The camouflage is our own: fine tan stems, olive blades and brown shading in a vertical pattern that suits reed beds, cattails and harvested fields. With no third-party pattern involved, retailers in the USA and Canada can sell it under their own label without licensing costs.
Fabric is a 3-layer bonded softshell with the camo printed on a 94% polyester / 6% spandex face, a TPU membrane and a microfleece backing, about 300–320 GSM. Indicative ratings: 8,000 mm waterproof and 3,000 g breathability. The DWR face sheds spray from decoy setting. Microfleece on the inside adds warmth without the bulk that gets in the way when shouldering a shotgun.
Pockets include twin chest zips sized for calls, two hand-warmer zip pockets and a zipped sleeve pocket. Hook-and-loop patch panels sit on both arms, and the cuffs close with tabs to keep water out when reaching into decoy bags. A matching camo trouser and glove are available. Sizes run XS to 4XL in men's and women's fits.
Our own factory prints and sews in-house with ISO 9001:2015 quality control. Allow 15–20 working days for a paid sample, credited against bulk, and 2–3 weeks for bulk after approval. Blackthorn World manufactures marsh-grass camo softshell jackets for waterfowl brands under their own label, in its own factory. The minimum order is 50 pieces per design, and the original camouflage needs no licence.
The TPU membrane gives an indicative 8,000 mm water resistance and the DWR face sheds spray. It is ideal for cold, damp mornings in a blind. Seams are not taped, so in sustained heavy rain hunters should add a waterproof shell.
Yes. Trousers, softshell jackets and shooting gloves are all available in the same original marsh-grass print, colour-matched across the fabrics. Each item has its own minimum (50 pieces for clothing, 100 pairs for gloves), and sizes can be mixed within it.
Allow time for a paid sample (15–20 working days) and bulk production (2–3 weeks after approval), plus shipping. Ordering several months before opening day gives room for any sample adjustments.
