About the Navy Carolina Flight Varsity Bomber
Clubs order this for touchline and travel because it survives weather the rest of the range does not. Navy with carolina blue keeps it inside the club palette while the DWR finish does the work nobody notices until it rains.
Navy and carolina blue is the safest two-tone in school sport: it sits inside almost every academy palette and needs no explaining to a committee.
Every other jacket in this range is a wearable-indoors piece that happens to live outdoors on dry days. This one is actual outerwear. The shell is 210T nylon with a durable water-repellent finish, so it sheds a shower instead of soaking it up, and behind it is 120 gsm quilted wadding — warm enough to be the jacket someone actually reaches for at 5 °C.
The silhouette borrows from the MA-1: a two-way front zip with an inner storm placket, ribbed collar, cuffs and hem, and the zip utility pocket on the left sleeve, built as a working pocket rather than a styling detail. Over that frame we lay varsity colour blocking, so it still reads as a team jacket rather than military surplus.
It is the build we point Nordic, Canadian, UK and Irish buyers to first, for the obvious reason: a wool varsity jacket in November rain is a dry-cleaning bill, and this is not. Squads that rotate sponsor or season badges can specify hook-and-loop patch panels so the jacket outlives the artwork on it.
Blackthorn World has manufactured outerwear in Sialkot since 1995 under ISO 9001:2015 quality management, with WRAP and SMETA/Sedex social compliance. Cutting, embroidery, chenille and stitching all stay under one roof, so the colour standard you approve on your sample is the one repeated on your fifth reorder. We ship door to door to the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Europe, the Nordics, Japan, Australia and New Zealand by DHL, UPS and FedEx, and by sea for container volumes.
Send a tech pack, a reference photo or a rough sketch to sales@blackthorn-textile.com, or message WhatsApp +92 334 096 2222, and we will come back with fabric options, a costed proposal and a sample plan.

Frequently asked questions
Is this jacket waterproof?
Water-repellent, not waterproof. The DWR finish sheds light rain and snow for the length of a walk or a touchline session. If you need a taped, genuinely waterproof garment, ask us about the rain and softshell range instead — we will tell you which one fits rather than overselling this one.
How warm is it?
Comfortable to around 5 °C over a hoodie, thanks to 120 gsm quilted wadding. We can specify 150 or 180 gsm for Nordic and Canadian winter programmes, and we quote the heavier filling as a separate line on the costing.
Can we change the badges each season?
Yes — specify hook-and-loop patch panels on the chest and sleeve and the jacket outlasts the artwork. It is a common request from esports orgs and clubs with rotating sponsors.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Ten pieces per style with sizes mixed. Lead time is 4 to 5 weeks after sample approval because of the quilting and the zip hardware.
