About the Obsidian Gold No-Gi Grappling Gloves

Obsidian Gold keeps the grappling glove black and lets thin gold lines do the work. Angular gold accents follow the edge of the backhand and run across the short wrist strap. Because the padding is slim, the glove has a flatter, sleeker profile than an MMA glove, and the gold detail sits close to the hand like trim on a fitted rash guard.

The whole design is about grip. Padding over the backhand is kept thin so the fingers close fully around a wrist, collar tie or underhook. Design notes

Black covers the backhand, finger loops and wrist. Gold angular lines trace the outer edge of the backhand and form a broken chevron across the short wrist strap.
