How footwear is produced
Footwear is a different trade from apparel, so we do not pretend to run lasts and injection presses in a sewing factory. Blackthorn World develops footwear through specialist partner units in Pakistan that we have qualified, and we manage the programme end to end: specification, sampling, pricing, pre-shipment inspection, export documents and shipping. You get one supplier, one contract and one quality standard across boots, apparel, gloves and bags — which is why outfitters and tactical brands add footwear to an existing apparel programme with us.
Development and sampling
Send a reference boot, a tech pack or a photo with the changes you want. We confirm the last, upper materials, lining, insulation, membrane, outsole and hardware, then quote per pair and build a sample pair in your size. Samples take 15–20 working days because lasts and outsole moulds are matched to the design; bulk takes 2–3 weeks after approval. Every bulk order is inspected before shipping for upper quality, sole bonding, sizing and packing.

- ShipSamples go by DHL, UPS or FedEx. Bulk ships by air or sea freight, door-to-door or FOB, with export documents prepared by our shipping team.
