How a private label order works

You send a tech pack, a sketch or a photo of a garment you want to improve on. Our development team replies with fabric swatches, a costing per piece and a sample plan. The sample is made to your measurements, with your neck label, care label and branding positions marked. You approve, request changes, or send it back with notes; bulk only starts when you sign off. Patterns are stored digitally on Gerber AccuMark, so your second and third orders use the identical block and grading.

Because every style is built from scratch rather than picked from a catalogue, you control the fit, fabric weight, trims and finish — the things that make a private label range feel like a brand rather than a blank with a logo on it.

Why a start-up brand can order from us

Most factories in Pakistan ask for 500 to 1,000 pieces per style. Blackthorn World takes trial orders from 30 pieces per design (sublimated garments) or 50 pieces per style (cut and sew), because our business is built on repeat programmes that start small and grow. Development samples are charged per style plus courier and credited back against your first bulk order, so a sample is a down-payment on production rather than a sunk cost.

Minimums apply per style and per colourway, with sizes mixed freely inside the order. Labels, hang tags and packaging are produced with bulk (500-piece minimum for woven labels), so your garments arrive retail-ready.

Why buyers source from Sialkot, Pakistan

Sialkot is the city that makes much of the world's hand-stitched footballs, sports gloves, boxing equipment and martial-arts gear, and it has a deep base of fabric mills, dye houses, embroidery units and trim suppliers within a few kilometres of each other. For a brand or distributor that means short supply chains, experienced sewing operators and competitive pricing on labour-intensive products such as sublimated uniforms, leather gloves and padded jackets.

Pakistan also has preferential trade access that lowers landed cost: under the EU GSP+ scheme qualifying garments enter the European Union at reduced or zero duty, and the UK Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS) gives similar treatment into Britain. Blackthorn World is a registered exporter under the EU REX system (PKREXPK71593468), so your forwarder can claim the preference on our statement of origin.

Compliance and quality

The factory is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 and audited for social compliance under WRAP and SMETA/Sedex. Each order passes in-line and final inspection on measurements, decoration, stitching and packing, with photos or video sent before shipment. Buyers who need third-party inspection can book SGS, Intertek or their own QC agency to inspect at the factory before release.

What is the minimum order for private label clothing?

30 pieces per design for sublimated garments and 50 pieces per style for cut-and-sew garments such as hoodies, T-shirts and jackets. Sizes can be mixed within the order.

Can you put my own labels and tags on the garments?

Yes. Woven or printed neck labels, care and composition labels, swing tags and polybags are produced with bulk orders; the minimum for woven labels is 500 pieces, so they are not included with samples.

Do you charge for samples?

Development samples are charged per style plus courier and credited against your first bulk order. Once a style is approved, a pre-production sample is made and photographed before bulk starts.

Which fabrics can I choose?

Cotton and cotton-poly fleece up to 500 GSM, French terry, jersey, piqué, polyester and spandex performance knits, nylon and polyester shells, down and synthetic insulation, plus technical fabrics imported for specific programmes.

How do I know the quality before I pay for bulk?

You approve a physical sample first, bulk starts after sign-off, and we send pre-shipment photos or video. You can also appoint an inspection agency to check the order at our factory before it ships.

Can I visit the factory?

Yes. The factory is at 12-KM Daska Road, Sialkot, about two hours from Lahore. Buyers who cannot travel can take the 3D factory tour on this site or arrange a live video walk-through.
