What we manufacture in Sialkot
Blackthorn World is a vertically organised apparel factory, not a trading house. Pattern making, cutting, sublimation printing, embroidery, stitching, finishing and quality control all happen on one site in Sialkot, which is why we can quote a sample in days and hold the same quality on repeat orders.
- Custom teamwear — fully sublimated and cut-and-sew kits for soccer, rugby, basketball, baseball, American football, lacrosse, netball, cricket, GAA, cycling, volleyball and more, in youth and adult size runs
- Ice hockey wear — sublimated and tackle-twill jerseys, socks, pant shells and bench jackets for North American and Nordic leagues
- Activewear and compression wear — leggings, training tops, rash guards and 200–220 GSM compression garments
- Outerwear — puffer and down jackets, softshell, rain, sailing and ski jackets, gilets and fleece
- Streetwear — heavyweight hoodies, varsity jackets, polos and retro windbreakers
- Fightwear and gloves — boxing and MMA gloves, fight shorts, rash guards, BJJ gis, work and riding gloves
- Workwear and hi-vis, hunting and tactical, equestrian, motorcycle wear and bags
Factory capability
Patterns are drafted digitally on Gerber AccuMark and graded across the full size run, so a repeat order starts from exactly the same file as the first. Decoration is in-house: eight Mimaki and Roland dye-sublimation printers, multi-head embroidery, screen printing, heat transfer and silicone printing. Fabric is imported directly for performance programmes or milled locally when a buyer's price point needs it. Around three-quarters of production operations — patterns, workmanship tracking and QC — are digitised, and every order goes through multi-stage inspection before packing.
Capacity is 150,000+ garments a month across 200+ stitching machines, which lets us run a 30-piece club order next to a 20,000-piece distributor programme without either waiting on the other.
Why buyers source from Sialkot, Pakistan
Sialkot is the city that makes much of the world's hand-stitched footballs, sports gloves, boxing equipment and martial-arts gear, and it has a deep base of fabric mills, dye houses, embroidery units and trim suppliers within a few kilometres of each other. For a brand or distributor that means short supply chains, experienced sewing operators and competitive pricing on labour-intensive products such as sublimated uniforms, leather gloves and padded jackets.
Pakistan also has preferential trade access that lowers landed cost: under the EU GSP+ scheme qualifying garments enter the European Union at reduced or zero duty, and the UK Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS) gives similar treatment into Britain. Blackthorn World is a registered exporter under the EU REX system (PKREXPK71593468), so your forwarder can claim the preference on our statement of origin.
Who buys from us
Our customers are sports brands launching or expanding a range, teamwear suppliers and club-shop operators who need reliable repeat production, schools and colleges, workwear and PPE distributors, and importers who want one factory for several product lines. Many buyers come to us after a bad experience with a middleman: we are the manufacturer, you deal with our sales and development team directly, and you are welcome to visit the factory or audit it through your own inspection company.
We ship to the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Europe and the Nordics, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE. We do not sell stock and we do not serve the domestic retail market; every order is export production built to the buyer's specification.
